Our wine tasting tours often involve boarding a cable car trolley, walking through wineries, and visiting tasting rooms so it's best to wear comfortable and casual clothing for the season. Opt for layers, as temperatures in south Santa Clara County wine country can vary throughout the day. Comfortable shoes are a must, as you may be walking on uneven terrain (stilettos and high heels are not recommended).

Not at all! Our wine-tasting tours cater to all levels of wine enthusiasts, from beginners to connoisseurs. Our guides are knowledgeable and happy to share information about the wines you'll be tasting and the winemaking process, ensuring it is a fun and educational experience for everyone.

All public wine-tasting tour guests must be 21 years or older.  Non-drinkers are welcome to join the fun, and can select our Zero-Proof ticket and we will provide non-alcoholic options for them. We do not currently offer discounts for non-drinkers.  Our private events can be tailored to accommodate guests under the age of 21 if alcohol will not be consumed on the tour.

Our weekend wine-tasting tour packages are $149 per person and include a champagne welcome reception with light appetizers, a gourmet box lunch at the second winery, the tasting fees for all three wineries that we visit, an unforgettable ride on an iconic cable car trolley, and expert insights from our friendly tour guide.  Our private wine tasting tours are customized to meet your personal needs, please reach out to discuss your dream event so we can provide a personalized estimate.

Each weekend wine-tasting tour will have a different curated collection of three wineries. We've partnered with over 15 local wineries in Morgan Hill, San Martin, and Gilroy to be a stop on the Morgan Hill Wine Trolley. We are lucky to have a rich selection of unique wineries, each with varied opening times and days. Additionally, we may make adjustments the week of the tour if there will be high heat or rain forecasted to only include wineries with tasting rooms that would be the most comfortable for our guests.

Yes, you are welcome to bring personal food on the trolley for private events and weekend wine-tasting tours. This is especially true if you have dietary restrictions. The weekend wine tasting tours include a light appetizer at the welcome reception, a gourmet box lunch at the second winery, and pre-packaged snacks on the trolley as part of your tour experience. Guests can also bring food for seniors to ensure that older participants have meals suited to their dietary needs while enjoying the tour.

For the comfort and safety of all guests, our wine-tasting tours are 21+ only and pets are not permitted. Trained ADA service animals are welcome, in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act. We do offer speciality tours (e.g., holiday lights) that are family-friendly.

Our vintage open-air cable car, the Morgan Hill Wine Trolley, is not wheelchair accessible due to its historic design. However, our El Toro Trolley is ADA-accessible and may be available for private tours or special events. We welcome guests of all abilities—including those with mobility, vision, hearing, or other accessibility needs—and encourage you to contact us in advance so we can review options and make your experience as smooth as possible.

Yes. Guests can join the tour with our Zero-Proof Ticket and enjoy the same fun, social experience—just without alcohol. This option includes a sparkling zero-proof welcome beverage plus three additional selected non-alcoholic, single-serve beverages to enjoy throughout the tour, provided in a reusable souvenir tote. Zero-proof beverages can be enjoyed alongside wine tastings at the wineries, so you can fully participate with your group. No explanation is required, and the Zero-Proof Ticket is priced the same as our wine-tasting ticket to ensure an equally celebratory experience.
