About Us
Mission
The south Santa Clara County wine country is a hidden gem in the south SF Bay that should be easy and fun for more people to experience! Our mission is to give our guests an experience they won't forget with a ride on an iconic San Francisco cable car and an afternoon of wine tasting, fresh air, and stunning views.
OUR ORIGIN Story
Friends for over thirty years, co-founders Christina Perez and Heather Gallegos are Morgan Hill residents who love the beauty, charm, and heritage of the south Santa Clara County wine country. They created the Morgan Hill Wine Trolley to help more Bay Area residents and visitors experience it for themselves. Christina and Heather bonded while raising their children, traveling, hosting friends who are family, and enjoying WINE. After trying to plan wine-tasting tours in the area for special events with traditional transportation services, they recognized a missing piece of the growing wine country in their backyards: a wine-tasting trolley! The opportunity – combined with a mutual passion for entrepreneurship – was the genesis of El Toro Tours, the parent company for the Morgan Hill Wine Trolley brand and future local tourism services.

What wineries will be on this tour?
We'll let you know a few days before your tour. Each weekend wine-tasting tour will have a different curated collection of three wineries. We've partnered with over 15 local wineries in Morgan Hill, San Martin, and Gilroy to be a stop on the Morgan Hill Wine Trolley. You can review these wineries on our "Partner Wineries" page. We are lucky to have a rich selection of unique wineries, each with varied opening times and days. Additionally, we may make adjustments the week of the tour if there will be high heat or rain forecasted to only include wineries with tasting rooms that would be the most comfortable for our guests.

What do people say about Morgan Hill Wine Trolley?
I experienced the trial run of the Mobile History Tour on Friday, September 4th. This is an exciting addition to sharing the history of Morgan Hill with trolley riders. Tere Johnson has put considerable time into establishing, researching and scripting the tour. Great job Tere! Appreciation the Morgan Hill Wine Trolley for partnering with the Morgan Hill Historical Society in creating this experience.

Our one trolley ride was a truly great experience. The rides between the wineries were the best part with awesome music, fun dancing and a super group of passengers. Ever on board had fun and the wineries we visited offered a good mix of wines to taste.

Such a fun experience!! The only thing that needed improvement was we got back 10mins early and were already getting escorted off the trolley . When i mentioned that we still had 10 mins left they let us sing 1 more song ,then escorted us off. We still had 5 mins left. As someone who loves karaoke that was a bummer because the experience sold said it would be 1hr and 30 min...and I needed that 1 hrs and 30...hahahaha. But other than that it was soooo fun and lively. The staff was fun and helpful as well. Will definitely do again and again !!!

Wow! This was my first time on the MorganHill Wine Trolley & my first time in a Mrs Roper’s costume. It was a blast! The greeters, bus driver, wine pourers, food servers all had a high level of professionalism and were top notch. I would do it again & I recommend it to anyone who wants to have a good time!

AMAZING TIME!! I’ve always wanted to do a Mrs Roper Romp and this exceeded my expectations. This whole event from start to finish was well organized and planned out. The trolly is always a blast but to be in a sea of Helen’s was the cherry on top! The winery we spent most of the evening at was superb. It was wonderful watching the sun go down in the vineyards at Besson. The DJ had the Helen’s dancing up a storm and the “Regal Beagle” mini sliders 🍔 were a tasty treat.HIGHLY RECOMMEND this event!

Wow, where do I start! This was my Mom and I 1st time on a wine tasting trolley. To say we had the best time is an understatement! From the time we got to the flower shop where you meet we had nothing but fun. The staff Donna and her partner who drove us on Aug 22 were the best! We felt welcomed, seen and well taken care of. We had music on the trolley, we danced, sang and met some super cool new friends. Everything all day was superb! We are going back in October! I highly recommend booking with this company. You won't regret it.

I had such an amazing experience on this wine trolley tour! I went with a group of girlfriends, and it ended up being one of the most fun and memorable experiences we’ve had together. We visited three different wineries, and at the second winery we were provided lunch, which was absolutely delicious. Everyone we met throughout the day was so welcoming and friendly. Our tour guide was hilarious, personable, and made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Our driver was also incredibly sweet and kind, and we felt very well taken care of from start to finish. What makes it even better is that I’m honestly not much of a wine drinker, and I still had the best time! The trolley ride, the wineries, the food, the people, and just getting to spend the day laughing with my girlfriends made it such a special experience. I’m so glad I went and would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone looking for a fun day out with friends. Such a great local business and an experience I would definitely do again!

Wow! Amazing fun, great people and fantastic wine. The trip was incredible from the start to the finish and Julie and Rudy were so welcoming. We couldn’t believe it was Julie’s first one - she was a fantastic host and DJ. The locations of the vineyards were stunning and the hosts at each one were so welcoming too. The entire experience was amazing and I’d highly recommend it to everyone!

We had the BEST time ever on this tour! Our 1st stop at Besson Family Vineyards was absolutely memorable. The family was so warm, welcoming, and personable, which made the experience feel truly special. Dammit Jim!!!Unfortunately, our 2nd stop at DeRose Winery was hands-down the worst stop of the day. The experience felt very rushed and impersonal, the gentleman simply read a quick insert, while the lady barely interacted with us. The old, broken-down cars throughout the property also took away from the overall ambiance. It was extremely boring, and honestly, everyone within our group wished we could have skipped this stop. It was a waste of our time and money!Thankfully, our final stop at Cinnabar Winery was AMAZING! Ron, the owner, and his staff were absolutely wonderful, welcoming, and full of great energy. We highly recommend this vineyard!A huge shoutout to our host, Charlize, who was amazing, and our driver, Thomas, who kept us safe throughout the entire tour. They made the experience even better! We highly recommend this tour company (minus DeRose Winery).Much love from your favorite New Orleans guests! And PLEASE try the truffle-stuffed eggs at the pickup location Luxe Flower Bar, they are absolutely DELICIOUS and the staff here were all friendly.

My husband and I were celebrating our birthdays, we were the only couple that was not on a big group of 20 something’s celebrating also a birthday. We do have different taste in music than the kids in the big group, our tour guide was very accommodating mixing up some 80’s tunes with the music from the other group. All and all we had a great time. We had a nice karaoke session on our way back. We will definitely be booking our next adventure with you guys, maybe on a day that is not that hot. Our driver and our tour guide were awesome. Great job Morgan Hill Wine Trolley!

My girlfriends and I had an absolute blast on our private 1.5-hour trolley tour on July 10th! The trolley picked us up from a winery and dropped us off right at our residence, making transport between wineries completely seamless and stress-free. A massive shoutout to the team for making this happen, and a special thank you to our driver, who was fantastic! The company went above and beyond for us in every way. My wife and I had the pleasure of participating in the South County Farm Tour on June 12, 2026. We both had an exceptionally enjoyable time meeting the farmers at each stop and exploring the scenic backroads of Morgan Hill, San Martin, and Gilroy. As a former IBM Customer Satisfaction Manager, I was blown away by the warmth, knowledge, and professionalism of both our tour docent and driver. The whole experience exceeded our expectations! If you're looking for a fun, relaxing, and family-friendly outing, I highly recommend signing up for a Morgan Hill Wine Trolley tour. Tere Johnson

This was a great way to spend an afternoon! We rode an open air trolley to a series of different wineries, singing along to music and enjoying the fun atmosphere. The Trolley was so much fun! So glad it is a female owned and operated business. The music on the Trolley alone was enough to get us up and dancing, even without any wine. I will say I felt like we needed more time at each winery, it felt a little rushed. I also didn't understand why we drove 5 miles south to the 2nd winery just to come back 5 miles north to the last winery. The 1st and last wineries were near each other. Maybe it had to do with timing. The food was excellent. Champagne at the start, light snacks on board, water, and a great buffet lunch. The charcuterie was excellent too! I would do it again.

The Morgan Hill wine trolly experience was my first time. I went with friends and we had a blast. From the beginning of check in at a local downtown restaurant, where you start with a champagne welcome toast, a light array of appetizers before you aboard the trolley. You will drive around downtown Morgan Hill and off to the first winery. There are three wineries you go to. The music starts playing and the fun starts immediately. You also are provided lunch at the second winery with a big turkey club sandwich and a side or a salad as well. The wineries are very good and beautiful. I highly recommend this to everyone. The ladies who run the trolley are so much fun and provide all the entertainment and info for your trip.

Had an amazing time on the Morgan Hill Wine Trolley. The whole experience was smooth, fun, and really well organized. The trolley ride itself is a great way to relax and enjoy the views, and the wineries we stopped at were excellent — especially Mohi Farms. The staff was friendly, the atmosphere was great, and it made for a perfect day with family. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a fun and different wine tasting experience in Morgan Hill. We will definitely be doing this again.

I love the wine trolley! It’s always such a fun vibe. Morgan Hill is a hidden gem in the South Bay. I’m fortunate to live here and take the trolley tour for wine tastings, holiday lights and special tours. I’ve even rented it for a corporate event that all of our out of town guests enjoyed.

This is my second time making reservations for the wine trolley. It is a great experience to get away and meet people, live life, and drink without the hassle of finding a driver. The ambience and environment are friendly. You can bring your own snacks along with the lunch that is provided. It is good getaway even if you are local and or visiting. The meeting area at the luxe is nice and low key, and pre drink and meet others.

This wine trolley is great for groups but also for a solo gal like me! I travel for work and I’m always looking for things to do to get to know the area. I didn’t know what to expect being alone. Donna made sure to let everyone know I was riding alone and that welcomed the other girls to come up and talk to me. I ended the day, dancing with everybody on the trolley. The wineries were spectacular as well! I recommend this experience to anyone who loves to have a good time and loves some great wine!
