About Us

About Us

The south Santa Clara County wine country is a hidden gem in the south SF Bay that should be easy and fun for more people to experience! Our mission is to give our guests an experience they won't forget with a ride on an iconic San Francisco cable car and an afternoon of wine tasting, fresh air, and stunning views.

Mission

Friends for over thirty years, co-founders Christina Perez and Heather Gallegos are Morgan Hill residents who love the beauty, charm, and heritage of the south Santa Clara County wine country. They created the Morgan Hill Wine Trolley to help more Bay Area residents and visitors experience it for themselves. Christina and Heather bonded while raising their children, traveling, hosting friends who are family, and enjoying WINE. After trying to plan wine-tasting tours in the area for special events with traditional transportation services, they recognized a missing piece of the growing wine country in their backyards: a wine-tasting trolley! The opportunity – combined with a mutual passion for entrepreneurship – was the genesis of El Toro Tours, the parent company for the Morgan Hill Wine Trolley brand and future local tourism services.

What do people say about Morgan Hill Wine Trolley?

My girlfriends and I had an absolute blast on our private 1.5-hour trolley tour on July 10th! The trolley picked us up from a winery and dropped us off right at our residence, making transport between wineries completely seamless and stress-free. A massive shoutout to the team for making this happen, and a special thank you to our driver, who was fantastic! The company went above and beyond for us in every way. Next time, we’ll definitely be booking for a longer time slot! Can't wait to do it again.

My wife and I had the pleasure of participating in the South County Farm Tour on June 12, 2026. We both had an exceptionally enjoyable time meeting the farmers at each stop and exploring the scenic backroads of Morgan Hill, San Martin, and Gilroy. As a former IBM Customer Satisfaction Manager, I was blown away by the warmth, knowledge, and professionalism of both our tour docent and driver. The whole experience exceeded our expectations! If you're looking for a fun, relaxing, and family-friendly outing, I highly recommend signing up for a Morgan Hill Wine Trolley tour. Tere Johnson

The Trolley was so much fun! So glad it is a female owned and operated business. The music on the Trolley alone was enough to get us up and dancing, even without any wine. I will say I felt like we needed more time at each winery, it felt a little rushed. I also didn't understand why we drove 5 miles south to the 2nd winery just to come back 5 miles north to the last winery. The 1st and last wineries were near each other. Maybe it had to do with timing. The food was excellent. Champagne at the start, light snacks on board, water, and a great buffet lunch. The charcuterie was excellent too! I would do it again.

The Morgan Hill wine trolly experience was my first time. I went with friends and we had a blast. From the beginning of check in at a local downtown restaurant, where you start with a champagne welcome toast, a light array of appetizers before you aboard the trolley. You will drive around downtown Morgan Hill and off to the first winery. There are three wineries you go to. The music starts playing and the fun starts immediately. You also are provided lunch at the second winery with a big turkey club sandwich and a side or a salad as well. The wineries are very good and beautiful. I highly recommend this to everyone. The ladies who run the trolley are so much fun and provide all the entertainment and info for your trip.

Had an amazing time on the Morgan Hill Wine Trolley. The whole experience was smooth, fun, and really well organized. The trolley ride itself is a great way to relax and enjoy the views, and the wineries we stopped at were excellent — especially Mohi Farms. The staff was friendly, the atmosphere was great, and it made for a perfect day with family. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a fun and different wine tasting experience in Morgan Hill. We will definitely be doing this again.

I love the wine trolley! It’s always such a fun vibe. Morgan Hill is a hidden gem in the South Bay. I’m fortunate to live here and take the trolley tour for wine tastings, holiday lights and special tours. I’ve even rented it for a corporate event that all of our out of town guests enjoyed.

This is my second time making reservations for the wine trolley. It is a great experience to get away and meet people, live life, and drink without the hassle of finding a driver. The ambience and environment are friendly. You can bring your own snacks along with the lunch that is provided. It is good getaway even if you are local and or visiting. The meeting area at the luxe is nice and low key, and pre drink and meet others.

This wine trolley is great for groups but also for a solo gal like me! I travel for work and I’m always looking for things to do to get to know the area. I didn’t know what to expect being alone. Donna made sure to let everyone know I was riding alone and that welcomed the other girls to come up and talk to me. I ended the day, dancing with everybody on the trolley. We had an amazingly fun time at the Wine Tasting Trolley celebrating my husband and cousins birthdays. We got to taste a variety of delicious wines and had a reserved seating area at each winery. Our bus driver and our guide were both so sweet and so much fun! I believe their names were Lisa and Donna (if this is wrong, I’m sorry, I had a couple glasses of wine lol). So much fun! We met our group at Luxe Flower bar on Monterey road. We sipped sparkling wine and had wee nibbles before we were loaded into the trolley. Once on board our hostess/mc reviewed the dos and don't of wine trolleying and we were off, with high hopes, enthusiasm and music blasting. Our first stop was MOHI vineyard, formerly known as sycamore creek. We enjoyed a tour of the farm to table gardens and some delicious wines. We were all partial to the Pinot noir. We were herded back onto trolley with an increased volume in both mood and music. Our next stop was Derose vineyard. We had lunch here and tasted 3 wines. The Chardonnay was the best of the sampling. It's not the prettiest looking winery, but they do have a very cool car collection. We then hopped back on the trolley and were whisked off to Miramar vineyard in San Martin on new road. Lovely land and outdoor space. The owner was very accommodating and generous with his pours and knowledge. While we weren't wild about the wines here, we did love the friendly atmosphere. At this point we all got back on the trolley...but our seats were shuffled around bc a group wanted the back end to dance!! The music was jacked up, the mic was passed around, people sang, danced, laughed and carried on. It was loud, raucous and too much fun. So, if you are looking for a party on wheels with a carnival feel, the wine trolley is IT! If you can't do loud, tolerate shouting, singing or dancing then this is definitely not for you. We all loved it and vowed to do another in the future if different vineyards were available.
